Rules

Rules of the city that everyone must abide by.

• Metagaming Using OOC info your character should not know is prohibited. Examples:
  • Discussing things that happened without your characters presence OOC on Discord and then acting on them discussing them in RP (without learning about them in RP first)
  • Watching a stream showing hidden stashes and going there IC without proper discovery.
  • You hear in a Discord call that your friends gang is getting raided. You immediately log into the server and drive over to help, even though your character has no IC way of knowing it was happening.
  • Stream Sniping (watching A stream to gain an in-game advantage OR to locate other players) is prohibited.
  • Do not be in any stream other than your own while you are active on the server.
  • Being present in a stream while on the server can be considered evidence of Stream Sniping and/or Metagaming.
• Random Deathmatch (RDM) Randomly attacking another character with little to no interaction is prohibited. Examples:
  • You are walking down the street and see someone whom you do not like. You walk up to them and attack them resulting in their "death".
  • You see your friend at gunpoint from a distance and go to help them by shooting the robber without any interaction.
• Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM) Using any vehicle as A weapon with little to no reason is prohibited. Examples:
  • Being chased by the police and crashing your car into them to prevent them from getting to their cars.
  • Driving down the sidewalk and running people over for no reason.
  • Hitting someone standing in the road or infront of your car for the purpose of stopping you from driving is NOT VDM.
• No Value of Life (NVL) Your character should value their life and act accordingly. Examples:
  • Someone has a gun to your head and demands you put your hands up. You refuse or fight back when you have no leverage.
  • Getting shot or stabbed or even punched and immediately acting like nothing happened, talking normally, not roleplaying your injuries.
• Powergaming You cannot force outcomes on others or abuse mechanics to block RP.
  • Forcing lasting injury without player consent: /me Cuts off your leg.
  • Running in to a property and locking the door while actively engaged in combat.
  • Holding up someone locked in an animation to gain an unfair upperhand advantage.
• Fail RP You cannot act unrealistically or abuse city mechanics.
  • NVL can fall under this rule.
  • Unrealistic actions ie. Jumping off buildings without a parachute or crashing at high speeds and acting like it did not happen.
  • Breaking character in any way is FailRP.
  • Abusing systems ie. Using physical bugs, glitches or inventory tricks to gain an unfair advantage.
  • Disruptive behavior ie. Causing destruction, Acting recklessly or trolling without any in character reason.
• Character Rules Rules to abide by while creating your character.
  • Do not copy another player’s character concept.
  • No vulgar, offensive, or Twitch-breaking character names.
  • Characters must be 18+ years old.
  • No copyrighted characters or close imitations. (eg, roleplaying a famous person that exists IRL)
  • Follow the further rules in the character creator.
• Sci-Fi and Supernatural RP Though Supernatural RP or Sci-Fi RP is allowed:
  • You MUST have A clear concept of what you are wanting to do or purpose of your character.
  • You MUST have a detailed backstory of how your character came to be or it can start through RP in city.
  • You MUST open A ticket and let staff know of your intentions, If you do not but try to be supernatural or sci-fi anyway, It will not be tolerated and can result in A warning or A ban.
• Voice Changers Using A program or device that alters how your voice sounds in city.
  • Allowed only if not immersion-breaking.
  • If your voice mod sounds artificial, robotic, or disruptive, you may be told to remove it.
  • Your character in city must be wearing A mask of some sort that could realistically hide A voice modulator inside ie. A mask that is tight to your face does not work.
• Text or Mute RP
  • Not permitted. This is a Voice RP server. If you cannot use VOIP, you cannot play.
  • There is an exception for medically mute players. (Please open a ticket, Proof will be required)
• Prohibited Roleplay Topics The following are strictly forbidden:
  • Suicide, self-harm. (Please DO NOT even joke about this)
  • Erotic RP.
  • Slavery or human trafficking.
  • Playing a racist, sexist, or hate group character.
  • Rape, sexual assault.
  • Reenacting Real-world tragedies. (e.g., Covid-19, 9/11)
• Staying In-Character (IC)
  • Remain in-character at all times. Breaking character can be seen as FailRP.
  • If someone else breaks character, pivot and keep RP going. Report it later.
• Exploiting and Glitching
  • Report all bugs/glitches immediately. This can also be seen as FailRP
  • Do not exploit bugs (e.g., glitching through walls, loot cycling).
  • Any gains from exploits will be wiped; punishments will follow.
• Server Restart Rule No crimes, robberies, or competitive activities 15 minutes before or after a scheduled server restart.
• Criminal Group Limits
  • Maximum of 6 active players for any criminal activity.
  • Turf/base defense can include anyone already present, but no extra reinforcements can be called in.
  • War will allow entire gangs to be involved but they have to be declared and best to inform staff if and when it starts.
  • Allowed:
  • If you are by yourself, you are allowed to ask/call in help from up to 5 other people.
  • If you are in an active situation with 2 other people ie. A store robbery, You can call in 3 others while the situation is still going.
• External Communications
  • No using external communications (Discord, TeamSpeak, etc.) to coordinate active RP while in-server. Can be seen as Metagaming.
  • Allowed:
  • Aligning schedules to RP together.
  • Pre-planning business or organizational RP (not scenarios).
  • Sharing realistic IC files/documents.
  • Businesses, gangs, and groups can use external servers for out-of-game community building and admin-approved planning only.

  • Use common sense, prioritize quality roleplay, and treat others with respect in and out of character.
  • Admins have the final say on all rule interpretations, punishments, and disputes.
  • Attempting to loophole, argue technicalities, or weaponize the rules against other players will not be tolerated.
  • If you are unsure whether something is allowed, assume it is not — or ask an Admin beforehand.
  • We are here to build a strong, fun, and immersive community. Play with that spirit in mind.
